Currently, we are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in the UK (This role can be based in either London or Manchester).

Responsibilities

• Understanding application architectures and systems design, pro-actively making recommendations on simplifying and improving clients' products
• Finding opportunities to exploit cloud-native technologies with clients' products
• Designing and delivering cloud-native applications that meet architectural requirements (scalability, reliability, observability, security) and DevOps best practices
• Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support to development teams and other architects
• Designing applications that can be supported and maintained

Qualifications

• Strong background in Azure, with familiarity across key technologies such as Serverless, Private Networking, NoSQL and Kubernetes
• Experience with building and orchestrating containers
• Expertise in hosting and deployment of applications (CI pipelines, web servers, DNS, certificates, etc.)
• Knowledge of software development in at least one major language and API framework
• Experience developing automations in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, etc.); scripting in a Linux environment preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork; client-facing role requires strong English
