About The Role
As our Senior Digital Communications Officer, you’ll take the lead in managing our daily social media presence, driving both our reach and engagement. Acting as our go to expert on emerging treads and algorithm changes. You’ll develop creative, accessible and engaging content that brings our work to life. Analysing performance data, you’ll spot opportunities and use insights to continually improve what we do.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that is passionate about digital communication and values innovations and strengthening voter engagement.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading on planning, posting and monitoring content across our social media channels
- Develop creative and engaging social media content to support our priorities and engage different audiences
- Managing our social media communities, developing responses and engaging with the public on our channels
- Monitor performance, analyse engagement data and report on results
- Work with colleagues across the organisation to advise on best practice and ensure consistency
- Support the wider digital communications team as our online activity grows
What we’re looking for
- Experience managing social media platforms with a good understanding of current platforms, trends and best practice.
- Experience planning, creating and publishing engaging content tailored to different audiences.
- Confident using scheduling tools and social media analytics
- A team player with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and commitment to inclusive, accessible communicatio
