Overview
YMCA Robin Hood Group are creating a brand-new role within our Marketing team. We’re looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive with at least five years’ experience in a similar role to lead and deliver high-performing digital campaigns across paid media, web, email and digital platforms. This is a hands-on and tactical role for someone who can combine creativity with a clear focus on achieving outcomes and results. You’ll work closely with the other members of our small marketing team, internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver fully integrated campaigns that support the YMCA’s mission and growth ambitions.
Role
- Lead on planning, delivering and optimising digital marketing campaigns across paid media, email, website and digital platforms, setting clear objectives and outcomes.
- Manage stakeholder communications, keeping the Head of Marketing and colleagues informed on progress and impact.
- Own and ensure all digital marketing activity reflects the YMCA’s brand, values and mission while achieving measurable results.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure joined-up marketing campaigns across all channels.
- Use data and insights to drive performance improvements, inform decision-making and measure campaign impact.
Location and Benefits
Location: Split between our Community & Activity Village in Newark & the Malt Cross in Nottingham with 1 day working from home
Salary: £32 - £35k
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
What You’ll Bring – About You
- With at least 5 years’ experience delivering multi-channel campaigns (paid social, Google Ads, email, web), strong skills in targeting, optimisation, budgeting, keyword strategy, and campaign reporting.
- You will have deep knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and Tag Manager, including campaign setup, tracking, attribution, and insight generation.
- Experience in email marketing automation (segmentation, workflows, personalisation), plus SEO (technical, content, on-page) and CRO/UX (A/B testing, user journey optimisation).
- Competent in CMS management, landing page builds, site optimisation, analytics setup, UTM conventions, and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Skilled at managing freelancers, agencies, and internal teams, using project management tools to deliver integrated campaigns on time and on brand.
- Strong copywriting and stakeholder communication skills, ensuring campaigns meet brand guidelines, GDPR/PECR requirements, and tone of voice standards.
- Strategic mindset to set KPIs, analyse data into actionable insights, apply a “test and learn” approach, and manage workload in high-volume environments.
