Base pay range

Pay of £57,946, plus 28.97% employer pension contributions, hybrid working, flexible hours, and great work life balance.

Role and responsibilities

We are looking for experienced Digital Portfolio Managers to join our community of tech experts. As a Senior Digital Portfolio Manager you'll be responsible for shaping, guiding, and overseeing the delivery of digital initiatives in DWP, as we transform the way we work, and how customers interact with our services. You'll need deep knowledge of organisational strategy, business planning, and cross functional collaboration. By integrating insights across delivery, finance, architecture, and service, you'll enable informed decision-making and ensure better outcomes. We need you to maintain momentum across complex programmes and ensure governance and assurance are embedded throughout. You'll develop roadmaps and high value initiatives, guiding teams through planning and assurance while maintaining oversight of performance. You will drive better services, reduce risk and enable DWP to achieve our goals with confidence, aligned and well governed.

Location

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay

Pay: We offer competitive pay of £57,946. Civil Service Jobs displays the current band minimum of £55,557, which will increase to £57,946 as of September, 1st.

Pension

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £16,094.

Holidays

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
