Our engineers are passionate about creating sustainable, low-carbon design solutions that bring buildings to life and make a positive impact on the environment.Our Manchester office is growing rapidly, offering an excellent opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding team and play a key role in delivering innovative, high-quality projects across a range of sectors.The RoleYou’ll take a lead role in the design and delivery of electrical systems for diverse and technically challenging projects. Working closely with clients, colleagues and partners, you’ll help shape sustainable solutions while supporting and mentoring junior engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage electrical design on a range of building services projectsAttend client and design meetings, presenting technical information clearlyProduce and review drawings, calculations and specificationsSupport and guide junior engineers and apprenticesEnsure project delivery meets quality, technical and programme requirementsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat businessContribute to sustainable and net-zero carbon design strategiesAbout YouDegree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services EngineeringChartered or working towards (CIBSE/IET preferred)Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification design experience in building servicesSkilled in Amtech, Revit, Relux/Dialux and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations and BREEAMExcellent communication and organisational skillsTeam-focused, proactive and committed to quality designWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageHybrid working and flexible hoursExcellent career progression and professional developmentGenerous annual leave with buy/sell optionsCycle to Work and EV schemesEmployee wellbeing and assistance programmesRegular social, charity and team-building eventsOur Client is committed to inclusivity and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
