OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer for our client located in Buxton. This is a home-based role with travel required when necessary. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement power generation solutions.
2. Work on projects in the renewable energy and power sectors, contributing to company growth.
3. Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and oversee project delivery.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
5. Perform system modelling, simulation, and optimization.
6. Develop control strategies ensuring safety and reliability.
7. Support project development activities, including site visits and technical reporting.
8. Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
9. Maintain industry relationships and stay updated with technological advances.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Professional certification or chartered status.
• Experience in power generation solutions and system integration.
• Knowledge of process control, SCADA, and industry standards (IEC, ENA, BS7671).
• Proficiency in MATLAB, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Understanding of renewable energy technologies and project financing.
