Senior Engineer - Fire Engineering role at WSP in the UK & Ireland.

Your New Role, What’s Involved

As a Senior Fire Engineer, you’ll typically work on a variety of projects, including international assignments, with the goal of enabling innovative architectural design without compromising fire safety.

Responsibilities

  • Run through design information and liaise with other WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
  • Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
  • Inform the design team about changes to increase building safety.

Development & Professional Registration

We assist the successful candidate toward professional registration via IFE and other professional organisations. The programme supports professional development and chartered status or equivalent qualifications, with training in technical reporting, project management, communications, commercial concepts, and related topics.

Qualifications

  • BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
  • This role can be based from any of our UK major offices.
