Role: Senior Engineer- Offshore Structures
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months

Execute structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides. Study and define the best technical solutions for offshore structures (both substructures and topsides) during various design stages (feasibility, FEED, detail design). Review technical documentation and analyses produced by others. Prepare sketch drawings and concept and feasibility studies. Liaise with other disciplines during project execution for the execution of the assigned tasks. To prepare and review all technical documentation related to Structural Design activities during the different phases of the Project, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and Contract package preparation, detailed engineering, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides across feasibility, FEED, and detailed design phases.
• Define best technical solutions for offshore structures (substructures and topsides) across design stages.
• Review technical documentation and analyses produced by others.
• Prepare sketch drawings and concept/feasibility studies.
• Liaise with other disciplines during project execution to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Prepare and review all technical documentation for Structural Design activities across Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and Contract package preparation, detailed engineering, and Operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in design of structures in all project phases (feasibility study, FEED, detailed engineering, and Operations).
• Proficient in DNVGL SESAM Suite, USFOS, ANSYS, SACS, STAAD.
• Ability to collaborate with other disciplines in a multidisciplinary project environment.
• Strong independent judgment to handle highly complex and diverse tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and engineering judgment.
• Awareness of structural design standards and correct application of Company HSEQ policies.
• Awareness of marine operations and naval interfaces with structural design.
• Experience in analyses and design of offshore structures according to ISO1900 series, API RP2A, AISC, DNV codes.
• Ability to create and verify FEM models of fixed offshore structures (e.g., jacket and topside) for in-place and temporary conditions.
• Experience in design of foundation systems (including piles and mud mats).
• Experience in brownfield redesign/assessment, life extension, reliability analyses, with problem-solving focus and critical decision-making.
• Experience in nonlinear analyses, blast, dropped objects, impact, redundancy, and pushover analyses.
