Responsibilities
- As a creative design engineer with knowledge of subsystems and SoCs, you will be part of a team developing Subsystems & SoCs.
- You will work with the Architecture team to gather requirements and develop micro-architecture specifications for SOC infrastructure areas such as Power Management, Debug, Clocks, and Resets.
- Your key responsibilities will include writing micro-architecture specifications, developing RTL, fixing bugs, and running various design checks.
- You will collaborate with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues.
- You will work with the Power and Performance analysis team to evaluate and improve Subsystem/SOC PPA.
- You will contribute to developing and enhancing the team's design methodologies.
- You will guide and support team members to ensure successful project completion.
- You will also coordinate with Project Management on activities, plans, and schedules.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- At least 2+ years of experience designing complex compute subsystems or SoCs, with expertise in:
- Creating micro-architecture and design specifications for SOC infrastructure areas such as Power Management, Debug, Clocks, and Resets.
- Digital hardware design and Verilog HDL.
- Design techniques for complex SoC development.
- Leading RTL development for Subsystems or SoCs.
- Using Lint, CDC, and RDC flows.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentations).
- Proficiency with scripting languages like Perl or Python.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures.
- Developing subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet.
- Experience with SystemVerilog and verification methodologies like UVM/OVM.
- Leading small teams or projects.
- Knowledge in areas such as:
- Synthesis and timing analysis.
- Static design checks (CDC, RDC, X-Propagation, Linting).
- Power management techniques.
- DFT and physical implementation.
