Overview

Senior Engineer role at Expanded. Location: Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. The position is with Laing O\'Rourke (Expanded) for the Monklands Hospital Replacement project, in Airdrie (Glasgow).

We are seeking a proactive Senior Engineer to lead technical delivery on site, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of between 2 and 4 Section Engineers
• Utilise and recommend best engineering methods
• Design process knowledge
• RAMS
• Interpret as-built information
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff
• Complete QA documentation and record keeping
• Implement ITP requirements
• Production of method statements or understanding of how they are produced
• Temporary works understanding and TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator)
• Understanding of materials and plant including call off schedules
• Aware of site HS&E procedures

Experience / Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering discipline, other construction related degree or an industry recognised technical or engineering qualification
• Approximately 6 years' relevant technical / practical experience within an engineering role
• Structures experience
