Senior Environment and Sustainability Advisor

If yes, then you may be interested in the Senior Environment and Sustainability Advisor role I am currently recruiting for. This organisation is a large, family-owned construction and engineering business with a turnover of circa £1 billion, working across various sectors where Sustainability and Social Value are central to their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits and audits, identifying opportunities to improve environmental performance and delivering training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies, legislation, and regulations across diverse infrastructure projects.
• Support strategy implementation and help drive this forward across different projects.
• Act as the main contact for the environmental sustainability program with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulators.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in environmental and sustainability roles, ideally within construction, infrastructure, utilities, civils, or related sectors.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in an environmental discipline.
• Membership of a recognised environmental body (e.g., IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM) is preferred.
• A passion for excellence and a desire to develop a career in environmental sustainability.

A UK driver's license is essential as the role involves travel.
