Overview

Senior Environmental (EIA) Consultant – North West & Midlands at WSP.

We are looking for a senior environmental professional to support our Environmental Management and Assessment Team in one of our UK offices. Our portfolio spans sectors including energy, aviation, nuclear, rail, property and Local Government. We seek candidates with a proactive approach and a solid grounding in environmental design, assessment and management across the development lifecycle.

As one of the largest environmental consultancies in the UK, WSP works on challenging projects from small developments across sectors to major national infrastructure schemes. Our Environmental Management and Assessment Team oversees and manages the environmental inputs to these schemes, with involvement through their lifecycle. Early engagement at concept and option stages helps shape projects to reflect the challenges of sensitive environments and communities. We aim to build in wider benefits of improved habitats, cleaner air and water, lower carbon and overall environmental gain. And with schemes approved and underway, we work alongside design and construction teams to ensure practice meets commitments. The role is ideally suited to a pro-active individual looking to use their initiative to progress their career.
