Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary environmental projects as the designated Project Manager or Project Director for large, complex, high-value assignments.
  • Act as the environmental lead project manager, ensuring implementation of core project management elements (programme, commercial, quality) while prioritising health and safety and inclusion and diversity.
  • Form and manage high-performing project teams, inspiring delivery of exemplary work.
  • Deliver environmental principles on projects, including regulatory compliance, mitigation and management of environmental impact, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability; oversee baseline data management, survey planning, and interface with enabling works.
  • Maintain robust working knowledge of key environmental disciplines and consultancy services; actively manage project change and risks to ensure governance, compliance, and optimal delivery.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate

  • Experience as an environmental consultant with knowledge of environmental impact assessments, sustainability, regulatory compliance, baseline data management, survey planning, and interface with construction or enabling works.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary environmental projects with a focus on client satisfaction and high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience leading project teams and delivering successful project outcomes within defined parameters.
  • Strong commercial and contractual management skills, including experience with Professional Services Contracts such as NEC3/4.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, able to articulate key points clearly to diverse audiences.
