Senior Estimator – InfrastructureTurner & Townsend are recruiting Senior Estimators with proven experience across the Infrastructure sector (Rail, Airports, Highways, Power, Water or Utilities). Opportunities are available in our London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester offices. Estimators may work embedded within a client organisation or on ad-hoc projects across the Infrastructure sector as part of the Turner & Townsend Estimating Hub. Remote UK-based estimating work is possible as workload requires.Our team delivers a wide range of estimating outputs to support client decision making, including:Estimate Production (from Order of Magnitude to detailed estimates built up from first principles)Estimating AssuranceEstimating Support to Major Programme Set upEstimating DataAs an Estimator at Turner & Townsend you will be responsible for:Production of accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans in a timely and efficient mannerControl and management of the estimating process at project levelProducing estimates without supervisionSupporting development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & TownsendAssisting in achieving departmental objectivesStaying abreast of developments in your technical area to provide best practice advice aligned with business objectivesQualificationsQualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experienceRelevant experience in provision of estimating and/or QS services in large project environmentsPrevious experience with estimating software packagesMembership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towardsDesirable membership of RICS / CIOB / A Cost ECompany InformationTurner & Townsend is a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries.
