Currie & Brown is expanding its infrastructure portfolio and looking for experienced Estimators to join our growing team in either London, Birmingham or Manchester. We're working on major commissions across the rail, highways, aviation, energy, utilities sectors, and we want passionate, capable professionals who are ready to make a real impact. What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering high-quality cost estimates aligned to project scope and timescales
  • Estimating Centre of Excellence
  • Cost Intelligence and benchmarking
  • Global knowledge hub
  • Validating supplier and contractor estimates to ensure commercial accuracy
  • Supporting investment decisions through clear, consistent estimating processes
  • Preparing cost models and reports during both design and execution phases
  • Working closely with clients and stakeholders in line with governance standards
  • Contributing to business cases, budget planning and cost reconciliation activities

Qualifications

  • Background in quantity surveying, estimating, or related disciplines (BSc or equivalent)
  • Experience in infrastructure sector essential
  • Pre-contract estimating expertise, ideally across multiple stages of design
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project financials
  • Working knowledge of cost planning tools and benchmarking techniques
  • Clear communicator, team player, and confident working with client stakeholders
  • RICS membership (or working towards it) is a plus
