Senior Events Manager – 12-Month Maternity Cover

Salary: Circa £60,000
Contract: Fixed Term – 12 Months

About the Role

As the Senior Events Manager, you’ll be central to delivering four of the most high-profile international events, for up to 350 people. The person who heads up the team is fantastic and they work really collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of flagship international events (US & EU)
  • Manage event production – stage design, AV, CAD layouts, venue coordination
  • Partner with the external production agency (briefing, scoping, execution)
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure budget ownership
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for sign-off and approvals
  • Oversee evening event experiences in collaboration with another Event Manager
  • Manage relationships with venues – logistics, F&B, floor plans, H&S, build
  • Ensure onsite stage management and seamless event execution

Ideal Candidate Profile

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Strong project management experience across international events
  • A passion for production, staging, and AV (venue CADs, stage builds, tech liaison)
  • Confident stakeholder management and cross-functional communication
  • Strong attention to detail and calmness under pressure
  • Experience managing external production agencies to brief
  • A background in logistics, venue liaison, health & safety, and full lifecycle delivery
