Role Overview
The Senior Event Manager UK (Kingfisher Hospitality Group) is responsible for leading the commercial performance of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) across the UK portfolio.
This role provides strategic oversight and dotted-line support to on-property Senior Event Managers, driving consistency, efficiency, and excellence in execution.
The role’s primary focus is on sales performance optimisation, data‑driven insight, and sales process automation to improve enquiry handling, conversion, and yield. Working collaboratively with property, cluster, and national sales teams, the Senior Event Manager ensures consistent delivery of commercial strategy and a best‑in‑class customer experience across all hotels.
The secondary focus involves proactively researching and soliciting group business from associations and other non‑account managed sectors.
Expected Profile Of Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in event sales or management within the hotel or hospitality sector.
- Multi‑property, cluster, or centralised sales experience preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth and improved conversion through data‑led performance management.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to translate insight into actionable strategy.
- Advanced knowledge of BI, CRM, PMS, and event management systems (e.g., Opera, OHRA, Delphi, Salesforce, PowerBI, JUYO).
