THE ROLE

There is now an opportunity to join the events team as Senior Events Manager where you will lead in the delivery of corporate events predominantly for associations amongst other businesses. This is a senior role within the team where you will be expected to lead by example and provide a strategic perspective working closely with the Head of Event Management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting high standards in communication, stakeholder engagement and delivery
  • Acting as the lead point of contact for a portfolio of complex events
  • End to end planning and delivery
  • Leading client planning meetings and site visits
  • Overseeing set up, delivery and breakdown
  • Oversight of event documentation including H & S
  • Senior POC for high profile clients
  • Building long term relationships
  • Key stakeholder management
  • Financial responsibility of events
  • Line management of junior team members
  • Providing strategic direction to the events department

THE CANDIDATE

To be successful as a Senior Event Manager, you will be used to delivering large scale events end to end either at a venue, organiser, association or agency at a senior level. You will be a confident leader who is commercially minded and able to provide strategic direction.
