This Senior Existing Business Underwriter role is a hybrid position, based partly at home and partly in their London office, where you will enjoy autonomy and support from senior management to maximize your success.

Due to the company's significant growth and development, this is an excellent time to join, working with broker markets in and around the Midlands.

Requirements

• Previous commercial insurance experience
• Comfortable working to sales targets

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and underwriting renewals across all products within the company's underwriting appetite, including queries within SLA
• Conducting broker visits and underwriting surgeries to increase brand awareness and establish contacts
• Serving as an escalation point for key brokers
• Building good relations with the Technical Underwriting Team and stakeholders
• Communicating regularly with Business Development Managers and Regional Directors for broker relationship management and strategic planning
• Acting as a referral point within the team
• Taking initiative to improve processes and promote corporate goals
• Primarily home-based with occasional visits to the London office

Salary

Salary: £50K to £65K, plus a generous bonus and benefits.
