Senior Finance Analyst, Revenue

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will drive informed decision-making, assist in developing business cases for new projects, and evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives.

You will develop and maintain detailed revenue models, incorporating key drivers, market trends, and business initiatives to accurately forecast future revenue streams. You will investigate and explain variances, identify key trends, and propose opportunities for improvement.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy. Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed revenue models with key drivers, market trends, and business initiatives to forecast revenue.
  • Provide financial analysis, reporting, and insights to Revenue to support decision-making.
  • Assist in developing business cases for new projects and evaluating the financial impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Investigate variances, explain trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management in collaboration with the Senior Finance Business Partner.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on performance trends.
  • Produce ad-hoc financial reports and analyses, including ROI, cost-benefit, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the Revenue area.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a similar discipline is essential.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and interpreting large datasets.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modelling.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and data visualisation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • CIMA qualification or equivalent.

Additional Information

  • Ability to assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts for the Revenue area.
  • Providing financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions, including ROI, cost-benefit, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in preparing presentations for senior management.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide insights into performance trends.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required.
