Senior Finance Analyst RTR - Controlling. Contract Type: 12-month FTC. Location: Lutterworth (LE17 4XN). Grade: RCS L. Hybrid working - 3 days a week. DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to perform all accounting processes for their respective operation. Our team of Finance specialists add value by understanding data and helping teams make informed, commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions as directed, including month end, reconciliations (e.g., Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue Recs), fixed assets accounting, etc.
  • Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, Finance Business Partners and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes.
  • Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making.
  • Effectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope.
  • Ensure adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production.
  • Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations.
  • Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.
  • Support change programmes.
  • Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed, identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager.
  • Manage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required, any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
  • 2-3 years' experience of performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry (preferred).
  • Experience of using Oracle Cloud (preferred).
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Flexible and resilient.
