Venn Group is delighted to be working with a leading broadcasting organisation to appoint a Senior Finance Business Analyst (Management Reporting & Systems) on a 9-month interim basis.

This role will play a key part in producing high-quality consolidated management reporting across the finance function, while also supporting and enhancing core financial systems including SAP BPC and SAP S/4.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across Group Finance, Commercial Finance, and Technology, ensuring accurate, insightful reporting and driving continuous improvement in finance systems and processes.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Produce consolidated monthly and quarterly management reporting for senior leadership, delivering clear and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Act as a key liaison between Group Finance, Commercial Finance, and Technology teams, supporting the BPC consolidation process and managing defect resolution.
• Validate and manage data loads into core finance systems (SAP S/4 and BPC), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strong control.
• Lead initiatives to standardise and streamline management reporting, advance the use of reporting technologies, and enhance data-driven insights.
• Design and deliver user training, guidance, and best practice materials to support finance systems users across the organisation.
• Partner with outsourcing providers and internal teams to manage system issues, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Contribute to audit, compliance, and ICFR/EMC requirements, ensuring processes meet regulatory and governance standards.
• Deputise for the Finance Manager when required, supporting senior leadership with strategic and operational finance initiatives.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong background in management accounting and management reporting, with experience producing high-quality consolidated reporting in a complex, matrixed organisation.
• Hands-on experience of SAP BPC and/or SAP S/4, with knowledge of system administration, data validation, and reporting.
• Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to senior stakeholders, including non-finance audiences.
• Track record of driving process improvement, system optimisation, and reporting enhancements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across finance and technology teams.

Pay rate: £400–£500 per day (inside IR35)

Working hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
