Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the role
As Senior Channel Finance Manager – Off Trade, you will be the finance lead for two of our key customer sub channels, act as a trusted partner to the Account Directors and their senior team – providing clarity, challenge and commercial insight.
Reporting to the Channel Finance Director – Off Trade, this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a small team, setting clear expectations, regular development plans, driving continuous improvement in a supported environment.
- Provide actionable insight into customer performance, both commercial and financial, using budget, forecast and prior years.
- Work cross functionally to spot opportunities and risks through clear reporting and storytelling.
- Provide forecasting and budgeting with a focus on insight, challenge and future value creations – helping to shape plans that are both ambitious and grounded.
- Visibility across the business with a strong financial voice in channel performance discussions.
- Collaborate with business partners across the business to construct and evaluate the value creation strategy for your sub-channels, ensuring customer strategy and investment prioritisation.
Experience and Key Attributes
- CIMA Qualified
- Previous experience in a similar role or business (FMCG) is desired
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes
- Commercial awareness of P&L from value chain to consumer price, with an understanding of all levers to drive revenue and profit
- Leadership capability with a strong ability to create cross functional stakeholder relationships
- Proven ability in analytical reasoning and numerical analysis, clear and concise delivery of financial concepts and data to a non-financial audience
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach regarding the commercial agenda
