As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the business. Sitting at the heart of our Finance team, you will provide critical insights, drive financial planning and forecasting excellence, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. Hybrid working

Credera operates a flexible hybrid working model requiring 3 days per week onsite at your local Credera office (London, Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle). We value collaboration and client impact, so our hybrid model is designed to strike a balance between flexibility, in-person connection, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our people and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and long-term P+L forecasting cycles, delivering accurate and timely outputs for senior management.
  • Have knowledge of forecasting systems (ideally TM1 - Planning Analytics or other financial planning tools) to support financial planning, moving beyond Excel-only approaches.
  • Maintain, develop, and improve the financial model in TM1 - Planning Analytics ensuring it reflects business needs and drives efficiency.
  • Perform variance analysis, highlighting key drivers and delivering actionable insights to management.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
  • Own the end-to-end budgeting process, coordinating with budget holders across the business.
  • Partner with business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor to challenge assumptions and influence decision-making.
  • Provide scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic planning and risk management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting and reporting processes, embedding best practices.
  • Deliver financial insights and recommendations clearly and confidently to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and HR to align financial targets with business objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified chartered accountant.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling best practices and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
