This is a London-based role for a commercially focused Senior Finance Manager to lead financial operations for the UK branch of a global business. The position involves budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and delivering group reporting packages. You will support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and partner with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for profitability improvement. The role includes treasury activities, intercompany loans, and credit control in collaboration with group functions, as well as ensuring effective use of ERP systems (e.g., JDE, Tagetik) and driving continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations for the UK branch aligned with group objectives
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting
• Prepare statutory accounts and manage the external audit process
• Deliver accurate group reporting packages
• Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Partner with sales and marketing to identify profitability improvements
• Oversee treasury activities, intercompany loans, and credit control
• Ensure effective use of ERP systems (e.g., JDE, Tagetik) and drive process improvements

Qualifications

• Management accounting background; experience in a consumer/direct-to-consumer environment
• Commercial acumen with strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
• Multilingual communication skills (Italian) are a plus
