We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to work within a local authority based in London. This is a temporary position for 6 months, offering up to £550 per day, with hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities

1. Analysis, Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and analyze management information, including financial reports and project plans, and recommend appropriate actions.
2. Business Support: Maintain, develop, and review systems, processes, and procedures to ensure a quality, cost-effective service and continuous improvement.
3. Service Delivery: Deliver specialist services, advising and assisting customers to maximize service quality, efficiency, and continuity.
4. Knowledge Maintenance: Keep up-to-date with the organization's current systems, policies, and procedures.
5. Customer Service: Resolve issues and queries independently, suggest alternative solutions when necessary, and ensure efficient day-to-day customer service.
