Overview

Nigel James Associates Ltd are exclusively working with a leading medium sized wealth manager organisation with offices across the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Financial Planner to join the business. The role would be new business focused utilising various routes to market to attract new business including networking events/channels, online presence, intermediary relationships and collaboration with other Relationship Managers that are investment management focused. You will be provided with full admin and paraplanning support so you can focus your time on building out your portfolio and managing your clients. This company works with clients that have £500k as a minimum to invest and their average client investment is around £1m. The role is based in their London office with hybrid working provided.

What you will do (Responsibilities) – new business development and relationship-building activities to attract and manage new clients, leveraging networking, referrals, and internal stakeholder relationships; deliver holistic financial planning solutions for high-net-worth clients; collaborate with paraplanners and support teams to service clients effectively.

Requirements

For this role you will need to be an experienced holistic Financial Planner that provides true financial planning solutions to high-net-worth (HNW) clients. You should have at least 5 years of advising experience. You should have gravitas and be able to generate a substantial amount of new business through networking, professional connections and internal stakeholder relationships. Ideally Chartered or near Chartered. If you have exposure to X-Plan this would be advantageous but is not a requirement.

This role offers a six-figure basic salary, with bonuses based on new fee income as well as existing client revenue. Bonuses are formulaic and can range from approximately 50-70% of basic salary.
