Our mission is to provide vital firewall protection to the organisations networks.**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING*** Acting as the key contact point for technical engagement for the bank's critical infrastructure.* Planning the implementation of sophisticated changes.* Providing leadership and mentorship to colleagues within your team.* Delivery of infrastructure and service improvement plans, including gateway upgrades and new builds.Whilst not crucial to have previously worked in Financial Services, having experience of regulated environments would be favourable.**WHAT YOU’LL NEED*** Experience of owning an engineering team. Managing risk, meeting security standards, and prioritising the need to maintain and protect service versus transforming capabilities and experiences.* Experience in technologies including ACI Technologies, and network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace. Checkpoint Firewall knowledge would be preferable.* Experience of Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling with proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Harness, Ansible & Terraform,* Superb communication and teamwork skills.* Ownership of unblocking technical challenges and having a forward view to prove new patterns and technical solutions ready for full use.* Find opportunities to reduce operating and change costs, improve change accuracy, and adopt innovative ways to how we deliver change and service.* Strong people management abilities within a geographically diverse team environment**ABOUT WORKING FOR US**If you think all banks are the same, you’d be wrong.
