Underwrite existing Mid-Market business profitably, accurately, consistently and in line with established underwriting practices, using the full range of tools available. Build trading relationships with brokers, through visits and large case liaison, to maximise financial results and to generate pipeline for new business opportunities. Contribute to meetings with brokers and end customers to portray AXA capabilities and secure new business opportunities.

Strong trading capability, commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and ability to build robust broker relationships within a Commercial Fleet environment. Pragmatic decision making with solid analytical and numerical reasoning skills. Proven experience in account monitoring and action planning; proven experience in underwriting decisions across a range of commercial scenarios. Sound understanding of the insurance market and processes across commercial lines operations. Knowledge of regulatory requirements including treating customers fairly; eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

Additional note: This role is an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role requiring pre-employment screening and periodic background screening every 4 years with annual declarations in interim years. What we offer
