Are you ready to shape the financial future of a global leader? We’re seeking a highly motivated FP&A Senior Analyst – Planning, Cash Flow, FX to join our dynamic London-based team. This role focuses on providing critical financial insights that drive strategic decision-making across WPP’s global network.

You'll be at the heart of our financial planning, owning and developing sophisticated financial models, interpreting complex data, and crafting compelling reports that translate financial performance into actionable intelligence. What you'll be doing:

This role places you at the heart of WPP's financial strategy, empowering you to drive performance and provide critical insights. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transforming data into insight: analyse vast datasets for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, identifying trends, issues and growth opportunities. Produce reports and visualizations that support informed decisions.
  • Mastering financial planning & modelling: own the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, design and maintain sophisticated financial models essential for strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
  • Forging strategic partnerships: act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with diverse departments. Lead workshops to align on assumptions, challenge thinking, and develop realistic projections that drive financial success.
  • Delivering high-stakes reporting: prepare and present monthly management reports, quarterly trading analyses, and board materials. Synthesize complex data into clear narratives and visualizations for senior leadership.
  • Driving performance through variance analysis: diagnose financial performance, provide timely insights, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to stay on track.
  • Monitoring & optimizing performance: track financial, business and operational KPIs to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Providing agile financial expertise: be the go-to source for ad-hoc financial queries, delivering timely and accurate information to support immediate business needs.
  • Championing process innovation: identify and implement improvements to FP&A processes, enhancing efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll need:

We’re seeking a highly skilled and collaborative financial professional ready to make a significant impact. If you possess the following, we encourage you to apply:

  • Foundational Knowledge: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proven Track Record: Hands-on experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar roles with increasing responsibility and impact.
  • Professional Credentials: A completed professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA), or part-qualified on the way to full qualification.
  • Modelling & Data Visualization Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for building sophisticated financial models, manipulating large datasets, and creating visual representations. Familiarity with dedicated FP&A software is a plus.
  • Strategic Analytical Skills: Expertise in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis that drives action.
  • Executive Communication: Ability to distil complex financial data into clear, concise insights for senior leadership and present confidently in high-pressure situations.
  • Global Collaboration: Ability to work autonomously and as part of diverse international teams.
  • Uncompromising Accuracy & Trust: Commitment to integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Agile & Collaborative Mindset: Results-driven, team-oriented, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Stand out from the crowd if you also bring experience with:

  • Advanced Reporting: SAP BusinessObjects.
  • Interactive Data Visualization: Power BI.
