The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Front End Developer to join our London based scrum team. The Technology team is primarily offshore but are looking to build out a London scrum team to be closer to our internal customers and for the diversity that it brings. The London team is responsible for the Single Page App that our professional subscribers use to manage their business with us. We have been investing in our Tech stack and have moved to the latest frameworks and tools such as vue.js, graphql, docker and Kubernetes as well as migrating to Google Cloud Platform. We are on a journey so are looking for a great developer but also someone that can bring their own expertise to push forward our overall technical excellence.

Skills & Experience

Significant experience with a JavaScript framework for front end development preferably Vue or React and preferably within a Single Page Application context

  • Be an active part of the engineering community team and collaborating with other developers
  • Solid experience working in an agile development environment
  • Experience working with modern front end frameworks, APIs and GraphQL
  • Some knowledge of Single Page Apps, App/Play store and Apache Cordova or similar technology
  • Coding best practice for performance, security and other architectural best practices
  • Experience working with Git
  • Ability to quickly implement solutions from idea to release
