Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help us develop the future of our customer-facing investment experiences. You will be joining a cross functional development team with a philosophy of continuous improvement and a strong focus on engineering excellence. We are a growing team focused on providing our customers with innovative web and app based tools and services to help them grow as investors, and we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can lead us in adopting cutting edge technologies while delivering a robust production experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work within Agile methodologies and drive continuous improvement to build a high-performance engineering team
  • Guide and mentor the team to design and deliver high quality products
  • Consider architectural and non-functional requirements and break them down into development tasks
  • Foster a build it, run it, own it DevOps mentality, nurturing code from idea to production

Technical Competencies

  • Significant commercial experience developing services and APIs with Node, PHP, .NET Core, MongoDB and/or SQL
  • Strong background in web development with React/NextJS/NestJS
  • Experience developing HTTP-based APIs and RESTful services with JSON, and GraphQL
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Test Driven Development experience with various test frameworks
  • Familiarity with containerisation and tools like Docker, ECS or Kubernetes
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining Cloud-Based solutions on AWS
  • Understanding of what makes a high performing web page
  • Experience with Drupal CMS is a bonus

Soft Skills

  • Experience working with stakeholders from product management and other business areas to design and deliver a solution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated with high levels of drive and enthusiasm
  • Experience in financial services or a regulated industry would be a bonus

Hybrid Working
