Job Title: Global Payroll Lead (EMEA)

Position Overview:
The Global Payroll Lead is responsible for the company’s day-to-day payroll and tax processing across the EMEA and APAC regions (15+ countries). The role involves developing and executing payroll strategies, overseeing payroll experiences, and working closely with Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing, tax submissions, and reporting. This position reports directly to the Global Payroll Director and aims to align global payroll processes to ensure security, integration, and thorough documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage EMEA payroll operations, ensuring timely processing of transactions including attendance, pay, benefits, leave, taxes, and deductions.
- Partner with Operations, HR, Finance, and Legal to improve global payroll processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll and tax-related issues.
- Manage relationships with vendors, auditors, and government agencies.
- Address payroll and compliance questions promptly and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Implement and evaluate payroll processes and record retention systems for internal control and transparency.
- Work with stakeholders to standardize payroll practices across regions.
- Research and apply country-specific regulations for new entities and tax jurisdictions.
- Assist with payroll-related financial audits and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local wage laws and payroll regulations.
- Recommend and implement software and procedural enhancements.
- Develop protocols for payroll data collection and entry.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience managing full-cycle payroll, including taxes.
- Experience managing payroll in multiple countries within EMEA and APAC.
- Proficiency with Workday payroll system.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with complex global payroll issues and systems implementation.
- Knowledge of payroll taxes, audits, and legal compliance.
- Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Adaptability, stress management, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Concur, and Workday.
- Professionalism and a positive representation of the company.

- Attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and initiative.
Note: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring at least three days per week onsite at our London office.
