Company

GI Group is currently seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our client, a leading education group based in Rotherham.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to deliver high‑quality design and creative content.
  • Utilise Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office applications to produce design and print‑ready artwork.
  • Lead projects, liaise with Senior Managers, and present concepts and ideas.
  • Maintain and safeguard brand identity across all designs and campaigns.
  • Prepare artwork for print, digital publishing, and large‑format printing.
  • Create digital animations for social media and outdoor advertising platforms.
  • Produce artwork for online advertising, liaise with suppliers, and advise on best practices.
  • Manage budgets for print and design‑related services to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Develop engaging designs for online applications, outdoor advertising, and exhibitions.
  • Monitor and maintain brand identity, adhering to guidelines and ensuring consistency.
  • Oversee design projects from conception to delivery, including original illustrations and infographics.
  • Collaborate on consistent communication artwork for classrooms and workspaces.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of using Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Animate.
  • Experience managing varied design work across several formats – digital, web, print, press, large format, outdoor, etc.
  • Experience in design and production of large multi‑page print publications (e.g., annual report, prospectuses, catalogues).
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop, present, and deliver engaging design concepts and solutions in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Good organisational, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet requirements including open events (early/late/some weekends).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business purposes or equivalent mobility.
