The role
Ready to drive the next chapter of growth for the #1 UK's mealkit? We’re looking for an experienced Senior Growth Strategy Manager, Paid Marketing to join the UK team. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end paid marketing strategy for HelloFresh and Green Chef. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Director and working closely with the UK Management Board and Global Marketing Leadership team, you'll be instrumental in shaping our marketing approach and budget allocation. You'll work with a team of talented marketers to be the driving force behind a profitable and scalable customer acquisition strategy. What you’ll do
This isn't just about managing budgets; it's about owning our growth. You will be at the heart of our paid marketing efforts, with a clear focus on driving performance and challenging the status quo.
- Own the Strategy: Lead the development, management, and execution of the paid marketing growth strategy for both HelloFresh and Green Chef, delivering on our ROI targets and ensuring alignment with HelloFresh Group's global objectives.
- Challenge Incrementality & Optimise: Work closely with our paid marketing teams to identify and execute on opportunities to increase marketing efficiency. This involves everything from challenging channel incrementality, launching initiatives to grow the share of high quality customers and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead Media Investment: Take ownership of the marketing budgeting cycles for both brands. You'll set targets, allocate budgets, and ensure our investments are maximised to deliver profitable growth.
- Forecasting and Planning: Lead on forecasting and planning. Collaborate with analytics and operations to ensure our outlook is accurate and aligned, providing insights directly to the Leadership team.
- Lead Cross-Functional Impact: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and global stakeholders. You'll ensure the UK team's initiatives are visible, aligned with commercial goals, and that key stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Data-Led Decision Making: Use data to monitor performance, understand deviations from the plan, and make real-time adjustments to spend. You’ll be responsible for optimising our entire paid mix and unlocking in-flight opportunities for maximum value.
- Champion Innovation & Growth: Lead strategic projects that attract and convert new audiences. Working with channel owners and leadership to develop strategies that diversify and invigorate growth.
- Creative Strategy: Lead creative and messaging experimentation, collaborating with the Brand and channel teams to drive scalable growth, ensuring a systematic approach to testing and cross pollination of learnings across the marketing funnel and mix.
- Team Building: Cultivate a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity. You'll lead from the front to inspire and develop talent, driving both team engagement and performance.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a strategic leader with a hands-on approach and a passion for growth marketing. You\'ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Visionary growth leader with significant experience in primarily performance and/or digital marketing roles, ideally within a D2C, consumer subscription, or high growth consumer brands.
- Proven success driving scalable Growth through performance channels strategies Experience leading 8-figure+ growth strategies preferred.
- Deep understanding of paid channels, how they operate and their role in driving conversions, awareness and consideration. Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic and Video experience required.
- Leadership & Influence - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Credibility and influence with c-suite and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Data-Driven Mindsetwith strong analytical skills and ability to identify and unlock growth opportunities. Able to dive into the details on a macro level without losing sight of the strategic vision. Strong understanding of incrementality and approaches to attribution to inform decision making. Comfortable modelling incrementality and grappling with the challenges of attribution and forecasting
