• Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 pro rata
• Position: 3-6 month FTC, Full Time
• Location: London (hybrid working 2 days per week in the London office)

Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK (SRUK) is the only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Scleroderma and Raynaud’s. We are here to improve awareness and understanding of these conditions, to support those affected, fund ground-breaking research and ultimately, to find a cure. Role and responsibilities

• Working with the Chief Executive the Senior Research Manager will:
• Oversee the delivery of the research grant process and manage the Research Grants Committee.
• Oversee the development and delivery of SRUK’s research communications and portfolio of information and support for the Raynaud’s and Scleroderma community.
• Be a source of scientific expertise for the organisation.
• Provide leadership and management to the Research team.
• Proactively identify new strategic research & funding opportunities

You will have proven experience of biomedical and/or epidemiological research, and a PhD qualification in a relevant subject. Also, a clear understanding of the research grant funding process, excellent communication skills and the ability to build successful strategic partnerships across healthcare, health-tech and/or research sectors.
