Role and responsibilities

  • Working with the Chief Executive the Senior Research Manager will:
  • Oversee the delivery of the research grant process and manage the Research Grants Committee.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of SRUK’s research communications and portfolio of information and support for the Raynaud’s and Scleroderma community.
  • Be a source of scientific expertise for the organisation.
  • Provide leadership and management to the Research team.
  • Proactively identify new strategic research & funding opportunities

You will have proven experience of biomedical and/or epidemiological research, and a PhD qualification in a relevant subject. Also, a clear understanding of the research grant funding process, excellent communication skills and the ability to build successful strategic partnerships across healthcare, health-tech and/or research sectors.
