Senior HR Advisor

We are working with York Limited to fill a temporary (3‑month) full‑time Interim HR Senior Advisor on a hybrid basis.
The role requires 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The assignment is based in York and offers competitive pay, holiday pay, pension and online timesheet management.
Role Overview
This temporary position involves managing pay, working practices and dispute resolution for the Environment and Regulatory Services Directorate. It includes advising managers and negotiating with Trade Unions on contractual changes.
Responsibilities
- Respond to challenges on pay and working practices.
- Provide specialist advice on resolving disputes, resistance and legal challenges.
- Set up monitoring, recording and dispute resolution processes.
- Advising and supporting local managers on a change‑management project, securing operational and contractual change and negotiating with managers and TU's in contract changes.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of pay practice and experience in advising managers on change management to secure operational and contractual changes.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- HR CIPD Level 5 (minimum) qualification.
