About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading financial services commodities house, we are recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner on a 9 - 12 month FTC maternity cover basis to support corporate functions across multiple regions. You will oversee employee relations, compensation processes, and collaborate with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) on strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing expert HR guidance on people management, employment law, and best practices.
  • Oversee complex employee relations (ER) cases, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and drive cyclical HR processes, including performance management, talent identification, and succession planning.
  • Work closely with CoEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation & Benefits, HR Ops) to design and implement HR strategies.

  • Foster strong working relationships with leadership teams, providing day-to-day HR support and strategic input.
  • Navigate an evolving HR landscape, driving engagement and managing change within a dynamic environment.

  • Expertise: Strong tactical and operational HR capabilities, particularly in ER case management and compensation.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in an evolving and complex business structure, with experience in corporate functions (not just front-office roles).
  • Influence: Proven ability to work with senior leadership, build trust, and drive HR initiatives effectively.
  • Global Perspective: International experience is beneficial but not essential.
