This is a fantastic role for an experienced Advisor to join our small (but mighty) team in Poole, working with our busy operations teams. The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, but may require flexing hours to fulfil the needs of a 24‑hour manufacturing site. The role is site‑based but has some flexibility to work from home one day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and lead on all disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness/capability cases, ensuring consistency and fairness in handling employee relation cases with our manufacturing operations.
- Proactively support managers in the effective application of our People policies and procedures, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Manage recruitment campaigns and support managers through the process, providing expert advice on best methods for recruitment and selection.
- Support with workforce planning and ensure optimum skills coverage across our factories.
- Identify, develop and deliver training to employees and managers to raise awareness of people management issues and internal policies and procedures.

- Broad experience in an HR generalist role.
- In‑depth knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruitment and employment law, with experience managing complex employee relation cases independently.
- Ability to coach and influence managers to adopt best practices in people management.
- A self‑starter who can operate with pragmatism and at pace.
- Experience working in an FMCG business would be desirable but not essential.
