Working within the PSG Autopart Implementation team as a Senior Autopart Implementation Consultant, the candidate will be implementing and supporting the delivery of Autopart ERP projects and ad-hoc works. The candidate will mentor and coach new members of the team and offer guidance from experience on other projects. The Senior Consultant will take responsibility for the delivery of advanced/niche functionality within Autopart through the Capability Lead programme and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery by offering feedback to the Centre of Excellence and Management teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take an active role in the delivery of Enterprise and Tailored implementation projects.
  • Keep the Head of Professional Services abreast of the current status against planned activities and take active steps to troubleshoot any areas of concern.
  • Make and guide decisions on scope, plan, approach, issue resolution, with a focus on the commercial implications surrounding each project and piece of work allocated to enable the whole team to maximize revenue.
  • Take an active lead in decision-making for activity scheduling and general project and ad-hoc delivery.
  • Pro-actively take responsibility for client escalations through to completion and provide recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Become the lead and expert in the delivery of Advanced and Niche services, producing relevant capability documentation to support the service.
  • Act as a buddy, providing assistance through coaching and mentoring to Consultants, and provide feedback via monthly status reports.
  • Proactively provide input/feedback into the schedule of work allocated to them.
  • Contribute to, and lead where appropriate, estimations/scoping activities.
  • Lead on wider PSG initiatives, paying close attention to alignment with other departments and general opportunities for improvement.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-year experience in the implementation of ERP and a minimum of 5-year ERP Consultancy experience.
  • Successful implementation of multiple end-to-end projects.
  • An extensive knowledge of the Autopart core and advanced processes, including Bluetooth scanning, SMS Messaging, Drivers Board, Pre-Delivery, QJI, IBT Routines, Stock Levelling, Standard Report Writing, Graphical Document Writing, eBay/Amazon Module, and Dojo integration.
  • An extensive knowledge of the Ledger core and advanced processes, including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Nominal Ledger.
  • Knowledge of the various EDI functions within Autopart niche processes, including XML processing and EDI purchase ordering tools.
  • Proven expertise in projects related to changes to the Autopart environment, including new branch builds, creating systems with separate ledgers, merging multiple Autopart environments, or splitting an Autopart multi-branch environment.
  • Proven delivery of eCommerce products, including Web Retail and Web Trade.
  • Proficient in Office 365.
  • The role requires a valid UK driving license and a suitable vehicle to travel.
