This is essential for enabling Aegon's businesses around the globe to be innovative, digital, and competitive, efficient, and effective, and to provide the best solutions and customer experience for our customers and shareholders.As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you will be critical in protecting the organisation’s digital assets and ensuring robust security operations across incident response, data and applications security, privileged access control, and internal guidance and consultancy to Aegon business units. This role may suit someone with experience at Analyst level looking to progress their career.**Key Responsibilities:*** Respond to business requests relating to Information Security.* Support the undertaking of Information Security risk assessments.* Assists with development of departmental procedures and processes.* Support the undertaking of compliance assessments, audits, reviews and workshops.* Assist in assessing Information Security policy exceptions.* Develop and maintain Information Security documentation.* Provide consultancy, advice, guidance and training to all areas within AEGON UK.**We’d love to hear from you if you have:*** Proven experience in a security analyst or similar role.* Strong understanding of security operations, vulnerability management, risk assessment, threat detection, and incident response.* Hands-on experience with DLP, SIEM, EDR, and PAM tools and control processes.* Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies and vulnerability management.* Familiarity with security in software development lifecycle (SSDLC).* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.**It’d also be great – but not essential - if you’ve got:*** Analytical mindset with attention to detail.* Ability to work independently and mentor junior analysts.* Comfortable working in high-pressure environments.* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, Sox, PCI-DSS, FSA regulations).* A relevant degree or qualification is desirable (e.g. CISSP, CEH, GIAC).* A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%. We’re enhancing our pension from November 2025.
