Senior Information Technology Audit Manager

A London-based financial services company with an established internal audit function is looking to hire an IT Audit Manager/Senior Manager to operate across a varied risk portfolio with a focus on applications audits. The role is hands-on and involves executing end-to-end IT audits, independently or with support from co-source staff and less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IT audits across a varied risk portfolio with emphasis on applications audits.
• Perform end-to-end IT audit work, including planning, fieldwork, testing, issue identification and remediation tracking.
• Work independently or with co-sourced resources, mentoring less experienced team members.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and provide practical risk-based recommendations.
• Ensure audit activities align with internal audit standards and the organisation's risk management framework.
• Contribute to the development of audit plans and assurance over IT controls.

Qualifications

• Senior IT audit practitioner with in-house 3rd line of defence experience.
• Strong experience in planning and delivering IT audits with a high standard.
• Experience with applications controls and IT risk management within financial services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• London-based financial services experience desirable.
