You’ll collaborate across teams and partners to design, build, test, and deploy innovative solutions that empower our colleagues and deliver real value to our customers.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGBuild and deliver new cloud infrastructure that powers our platformsKeep our existing cloud systems running smoothly and evolving with our needsShare your expertise and support with the wider engineering teamChampion best practices in infrastructure security, resilience, and reliabilityMake sure our platforms scale effectively with the right capacity and triggersGuide our use of WAFs and CDNs, including smart configuration to optimise performanceWHAT YOU’LL NEEDWe’re looking for someone who’s passionate about cloud infrastructure and automation, and ready to make an impact. Ideally, you’ll bring:Strong experience across cloud infrastructure – compute, storage, networking, and security.Familiarity with PaaS services and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.A solid understanding of cloud security models (IAM, Service Principals, VPCs).Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g. Terraform or similar tools).Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve and optimise.And any experience of these would be really useful:Exposure to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Use of Docker in local development environments (e.g. devcontainers, Docker Compose).ABOUT WORKING FOR USLike the modern Britain we serve, we’re evolving.
