We’ve got a great opportunity in our Chief Security Office! To effectively safeguard our organisations data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, it is crucial to integrate infrastructure expertise into the Data Loss Management (DLM) function. An Infrastructure Engineer brings critical capabilities that will improve the organisation’s ability to proactively detect, prevent, and respond to data loss incidents. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will work without the need for supervision and own and advise the tasks of more junior engineers. They will focus on Platform or Lab level objectives and may lead a sub‑set of their team’s technical products.What you’ll doYou’ll design and implement automated workflows for data classification, incident response, and alerting – reducing manual effort and boosting speed! You’ll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab and Harness, and leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform for consistency and reliability. With scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash, you’ll create custom tools to detect anomalies, enforce encryption, and integrate DLP tools with SIEM or ticketing systems. Plus, you’ll deploy and test DLP policies across endpoints, servers, and cloud environments, ensuring scalability and performance optimisation. When incidents happen, you’ll dive in to trace data flows, analyse logs, and restore systems fast!What we’re looking forStrong automation and scripting skillsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform)Knowledge of system architecture and policy deploymentAbility to integrate DLP tools across infrastructure layersA proactive attitude for incident response and scalabilityNice to haveExperience with DLP/DSPM technologies, SIEM, cloud security, and APIs.
