Senior In-House Counsel – Immediate Start Join Ortolan Group as a senior legal professional. This 4‑6 month fixed‑term role supports brand and marketing teams within an international CPG business. Overview We are looking for an experienced (10‑15 PQE) lawyer, highly skilled in IP, technology and data, to work remotely with our client’s in‑house legal team. The role is based anywhere in the UK but requires occasional visits to London and Scotland offices. Key Responsibilities
Provide senior business colleagues with effective solutions to complex legal issues and manage risk. Advise on technology and marketing agreements, brand protection, and management. Work across a broad spectrum of commercial contracts, supporting the business. Maintain knowledge of data protection and commercial data issues. Manage and lead other members of the legal team.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified lawyer in the UK or comparable jurisdiction, with 10+ years PQE. Experience in the CPG sector and advising an international business. Strong technical legal background from a leading practice; subsequent in‑house experience essential. Excellent commercial awareness and ability to work with senior stakeholders. High motivation, client‑focused, charismatic, and proactive.
