Overview

Senior Insight Analyst – Wolverhampton (3 days per week on-site, hybrid) • £45,000 - £50,000

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across departments to provide meaningful analysis and insights.
• Proactively explore datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations through clear storytelling and visualisation.
• Support financial planning and analysis with accurate data and reporting.
• Champion best practice in data use, helping teams better understand and interpret reports.
• Use SQL, Python, and BI tools to query, analyse, and visualise complex datasets.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Python (pandas, numpy) for advanced analysis and automation.
• Previous experience in a data or BI analyst role, ideally within a wholesale or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, Salesforce, or Google Analytics is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to distil complex data into clear insights.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, adaptable, and confident managing multiple priorities.
