At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Senior Product Engineer at our Bristol, Plymouth, or Walsall site.

In Walsall, we convert vehicles to meet a wide variety of requirements, from the production of police vehicles to Military Armoured Cars to serving in volatile environments and protecting against roadside explosions and mine attacks. Whilst in our Southwest facility, we have developed a flexible vehicle assembly line to build vehicles at scale for our UK and overseas partners.

The role
As a Senior Product Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to support Babcock with delivering our purpose of Creating a Safe and Secure World through the conversion of vehicles to meet military and emergency services demanding requirements.

Day-to-day, you’ll focus on developing and implementing support strategies, by joining our engineering team to develop an Integrated Product Support (IPS) solution to engineering and build activities.

This role is full time 37.5 hours per week and requires regular travel to Walsall, Bristol, and Plymouth on a monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.
