We empower employees to push boundaries and explore new ideas, offering opportunities for growth and impact in software innovation.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Security Software Developer, you will spearhead the Company’s mobile security initiatives, architecting resilient defences and mentoring teams to outsmart today’s advanced threats.Within the fraud site defence team, you will be a strategic leader in our security operations on our iOS platform.You will architect cutting-edge anti-tamper and anti-cheat measures across our iOS native and companion apps, ensuring data integrity such as GPS against evolving spoofing techniques.In addition to your technical acumen, your track record in leading security initiatives and mentoring junior team members will help foster a proactive security culture.This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.ResponsibilitiesSpearhead mobile security initiatives on iOS, architect resilient defences, and mentor teams.Lead security operations within the fraud site defence team for iOS.Develop and evolve anti-tamper and anti-cheat measures for iOS native and companion apps.Protect critical data integrity (e.g., GPS) against spoofing and other tampering techniques.Drive security initiatives and mentor junior engineers to foster a proactive security culture.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security features and align with development and infrastructure practices.QualificationsMastery in securing iOS platforms, including threat modelling and anti-cheat mechanism design.Strong background in low-level systems programming and operating system internals.Experience in reverse engineering; ARM assembly knowledge is advantageous.Proficiency in C/C++ for native security development and robust Swift knowledge for secure mobile apps.Proven experience architecting and evolving anti-tamper and defence systems.Ability to lead, coach, and inspire security engineering teams and promote best practices.Knowledge of encryption, secure key management, secure coding, and risk reduction.Hacker mindset with a passion for identifying vulnerabilities before exploitation.Excellent communication to work with development, infrastructure, and information security teams.Creative problem-solver with a proactive approach to emerging threats.Additional InformationIdentify, analyse, and reverse engineer exploits and cheat mechanisms; formulate robust countermeasures.Design and implement scalable anti-tamper and anti-cheat systems for mobile apps with high security standards.Maintain data integrity (e.g., GPS) against spoofing and tampering attempts.Advance memory protection, code obfuscation, and other security techniques to mitigate exploits.Collaborate with software development, information security, and infrastructure teams to integrate security features and set secure development direction.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and security engineers.Assess emerging threat vectors and update security strategies and policies.Develop tools for real-time detection, threat analysis, and rapid incident response.Champion cutting-edge security standards to meet internal and regulatory requirements.By applying to us you are agreeing to share your Personal Data in accordance with our Recruitment Privacy Notice - https://www.bet365careers.com/privacy-policyAt bet365, we’re committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected and valued.
