Overview

We are seeking expert Senior Java Developers to play a central role in building digital solutions for our customers. The team will focus on delivering a new state‑of‑the‑art investments platform that is expected to span several years.

Working Style

Hybrid 50% home / office based.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain enterprise Java applications, design and expose RESTful microservices, develop event streaming solutions with Kafka, persist data using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, containerise services with Kubernetes, adopt TDD and automated testing, optimise performance and earn low latency runtimes, lead and mentor team members, drive best practice.

Qualifications

• Expertise in enterprise Java development with Spring.
• Expertise in REST API microservice development and event streaming with Kafka.
• Expertise in persistence and caching layers, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Expertise in cloud hosting and containerisation platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Expertise in TDD and left‑most automated testing.
• Experience in low latency, highly performant, optimised runtimes.
• Experience in agile development practices and the full software development lifecycle.
• Thrives with minimal supervision and naturally eager to lead and mentor others.
• Continuously developing new skills, driving best practice and standards.
