Role Overview

Senior JD Edwards (JDE) Functional Consultant – Manufacturing and Distribution

Responsibilities

• Lead functional consulting for JDE modules including Manufacturing (Shop Floor Control, Work Orders, Product Costing) and Distribution (Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, conduct gap analyses, and recommend process improvements.
• Support full solution delivery – testing, training, and deployment.
• Manage and mentor a team of JDE support consultants and analysts.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews, allocate resources, and support professional growth.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management through ServiceNow.
• Build strong customer relationships and collaborate closely with Service Delivery Managers and technical teams.
• Act as an escalation point for complex functional issues.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands‑on experience with JDE ERP (Manufacturing & Distribution focus).
• Background in people management or team leadership.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes.
• Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira) and ITIL principles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred

• JDE certification in relevant modules.
• ITIL Foundation (or higher).
• Experience with ERP upgrades or migrations.
• Familiarity with integrations between JDE and other enterprise systems.
